Situated beneath the slopes of Santa Ana Hill, the vibrant Puerto Santa Ana has been a popular destination in the city since its opening in 2007. This vibrant open-air restaurant district, located below the buildings and alongside the river, offers a diverse range of local and international cuisine and a wide selection of drinks, making it a popular local spot.

But the place is about more than just food and drink. The complex comprises several office, commercial and residential buildings, as well as squares, museums and a riverside promenade. It was built on the site of a brewery and other factories, which have been preserved in their original form.

A night view of Puerto Santa Ana.

Plaza Pilsener is a vibrant venue for cultural events and home to several museums, including the Julio Jaramillo Laurido Folk Music Museum and the Astillero teams, who are local and national celebrities. Barcelona and Emelec, as well as the Beer Museum.

The complex comprises several office buildings, commercial premises and apartments, as well as squares, museums and galleries. There is also a boardwalk running alongside the Guayas River. It was built on the site of a former brewery and other factories, which have been preserved in their original form. The museums in this area include the Julio Jaramillo Lurido Museum of Popular Music and the Astillero teams, which are famous both locally and nationally: Barcelona and Emelec, as well as the Beer Museum.

We think that Puerto Santa is an excellent place to stay in the city. It is close to many tourist attractions worth visiting. It is also known for being a safe area. You can find accommodation in this area below: Booking and Expedia.
