Opened on August 10th 1909, it has rooms inside where you can visit art and archaeology from many different periods. The Municipal Museum building underwent several modifications and restorations until the present building was built. Nowadays you can visit collections from the following periods: Prehistory, Colony, Independence, Republic, and XX century. Sacred Art, Numismatics.
